With over 30 years of hands-on experience in electronics, aviation, and security systems, Dylan Allen founded SIDA Solutions in 2014 to bring real-world expertise to transportation security consulting.
Dylan’s career began in the U.S. Navy as an Aviation Electrician’s Mate, where he developed a deep foundation in electrical and mechanical systems. After his service, he built experience across industries — from precision circuit board manufacturing to electrical and controls work — before finding his footing in Baggage Handling Systems and Explosive Detection in 2005.
Over the following decade, he held roles as a Site Manager, TSA Site Lead, and Program Manager with organizations including G&T Conveyor, Cage Inc., Spider Integration Group, Leidos, Studdiford Technical Solutions, and JSM & Associates.
That breadth of experience — from the tarmac to the boardroom — is what sets SIDA Solutions apart.
